Once they discovered the C'tan, however, everything would change. When they first encountered the Old Ones, with their immortality, the Necrontyr became jealous and began their efforts to destroy them, but the Old Ones and their uplifted 'children', the Eldar, held them back with ease. Born on a planet blasted by their star's radiation, their people lived short, miserable lives. The Necrontyr were a race that existed in the earlier days of the galaxy.
